FABRICATION AND CARE
These pants are made from a cotton/linen deadstock blend. Cotton and Linen are natural fibres that age naturally, becoming softer with each wash. The pockets and internal binding are Curpo, a 'vegan silk' made from cottonseed linter. Cupro is a great lining fabric as it breathes, is anti-static and allows for comfort as a lining fabric.
This fabric is sourced from deadstock, which is the by-product of fabric that is either over-ordered, or under-utilised and in most cases would end up in landfill or incinerated if not repurposed. More details in our pages on Fabrications.
These buttons are metal, designed to last the test of time and can be reused or recycled at their end of life.
Our zips are locally sourced from a small business in Melbourne, Australia. We are working towards sourcing more eco friendly zips such as recycled/organic cotton, as we grow and we are able to meet minimum quantities.
We recommend that you hang your garment outside to air after each wear. This helps keep it fresh without having to wash it after each use. When you do need to wash it, we recommend a cold hand/gentle machine wash and line dry.
See our Garment Care page for tips and tricks to keep your clothes in top condition.
