'Being ethical is about doing what is right, not what is easy.'

Australian Made

We are proud to currently produce 100% of our garments in Melbourne, Australia.  It can be hard to be compete with offshore pricing, but we think its really important to support our local technicians and businesses keeping such great skills in Australia.

We have a talented team of technical pattern makers, manufactures and suppliers who come from diverse and varied backgrounds.  Each of these people help bring our visions to life and without them we would not be able to do what we do.  We are so thankful to have wonderful, respectful and genuine relationships with each of these people and feel so grateful that they are part of our extended NK family.

Having our suppliers and manufacturers close by helps us to reduce our impact on the environment by reducing our transport distances.  We can be agile, responding to changes or issues quickly so we can resolve them and move on.  We have an intimate hands-on involvement with each step of the design and production process, which allows us to deliver our high-quality standards.

Animal Welfare

At Noble Kind we choose to not to use any animal products, which includes silk and wool.  As part of our values we believe all animals, from silkworms to ducks & sheep, deserve the right to be free from harm and exploitation.

We seek out luxury non-animal (vegan) materials that lessen the impact on the environment, look amazing and feel fantastic to wear.  We are proud to be PETA certified, showing our commitment against animal exploitation in any industry, including fashion.

The Environment

It can't be beautiful if it harms.

All of our products have been consciously designed and produced - taking time to consider every fabric, trim, thread - its initial environmental impact from its raw state through to its longevity and end of life impact.  This isn't always easy.  As a boutique business without large order quantities we sometimes miss out on more sustainable options due to our buying power.  However, we will always choose the most sustainable option available, and at times that means paying more for a product which we feel is worth it to ensure we minimise our environmental footprint as much as possible.

Head to our page on Sustainability to find out how we are continuing to re-define and manage sustainable practices across our business as we grow, as well as our plans for the future.  We are far from perfect, but we are persistent and environmental sustainability will always be at the forefront of every decision we make, as it is in our own personal lives.

Community and Support

Part of our values include giving back.  We have carefully selected not for profit organisations that are helping to protect, care for and rejuvenate our planet and its creatures.  Check out our Community page for more details.
