FABRICATION AND CARE

This garment is made from a luxurious cotton/Cupro blend.  Cotton (and Cupro) is great natural fibre given its ability to breath, be moisture wicking, anti-static and is comfortable to wear all year around.  Cupro is a great by-product of the cotton crop, and what would normally become a waste product becomes a luxury, soft fabric which is great for a wide range of garments.  Check out our Fabrications page to learn more about this fibre.

This fabric is sourced from deadstock, which is the by-product of fabric that is either over-ordered, or under-utilised and in most cases would end up in landfill or incinerated if not repurposed.  More details in our pages on Fabrications.

Our zips are locally sourced from a small business in Melbourne, Australia.  We are working towards sourcing more eco friendly zips such as recycled/organic cotton, as we grow and we are able to meet minimum quantities.

We recommend that you hang your garment outside to air after each wear.  This helps keep it fresh without having to wash it after each use.  When you do need to wash it, we recommend a cold hand/gentle machine wash and line dry.
